The ELT Summit 2026: Rethinking ELT to Energize, Inspire, and Transform—hosted by the Faculty of Education at Universidad del Valle de Guatemala (UVG)—seeks to inspire, celebrate, and empower English language educators in Guatemala. 

This national event is aimed at English teachers across the country, school administrators, and labor market leaders who employ bilingual (English-Spanish) professionals. During a day with diverse concurrent sessions, both on-site and online, participants join in meaningful dialogue about the growing demand for English teachers at all educational levels.  

Each plenary explores strategies for rethinking, revitalizing, and transforming the field through motivation, innovation, and professional collaboration—ultimately aspiring to serve learners in the best way possible.
